The United States is inarguably, becoming less and less liberal. Never, ever, confuse the Left with liberal; nothing could be further from truth. The Right isn’t much better unfortunately.

But, the People are acting, if not speaking out, as I documented in my post The Simple Pass On; parallel systems are arising in education, the press, social media and money, not to mention agriculture. Perhaps most importantly, people are voting with their feet, as evidenced by a truly mass migration from the more leftist states to those more conservative.

Guns, Guns, and More Guns

Then there is the subject of this post. Guns. NFA is short for the National Firearms Act of 1934, and NFRTR is short for the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. Infringements on the 2nd Amendment have been effected for a long time, all of them in violation of the Constitution. But, it is what it is at this point.

With an over-the-counter gun purchase, comes a background check. From the chart above, we can see that applications have skyrocketed since 2018, with an obvious huge blip upward in 2016, and there are now 20 times as many applications as there were 2005. Population growth is just 1.14 times what is was in 2005. (That 2016 blip you ask; Hillary Clinton’s run for POTUS; ultimately unsuccessful, thank God.) Of course, according the leftists’ propaganda, violent crime in general and gun crime in particular must have gone up by a similar factor, no? Let’s see.
