Sawmill Services
With the F250 in service, this is probably the last you will see of the F150; this was on Paul’s job in Cassopolis last week. No milling jobs since, but I have three in the queue.

Oxen
Above are three 100 ft rolls of 1 inch poly pipe, generally used for irrigation; I ended up using 500 ft for the above-ground Oxen water supply.
And I did some work in the Oxen pasture de-brushing the paddock that I moved the Oxen from this week; below are short videos, between half minute and 1 minute 45 seconds.
Layers
Some people call it a pop door, because the hens pop out when it is opened. I just call it a door.
And the pullets are coming along nicely.
Get Those Pig and Chicken Orders In!
Last call for pigs; I am picking up the piglets on Friday; I moved it out a day because Thursday is supposed to be rain start to finish. Same goes for broiler chickens, get those orders in. Earlier is better, please.
Sheep
I did a lot of work in the future sheep pasture this week; brush hogging, and there were a lot of downed trees to deal with. To the right front and left front of the tractor, you can see the brush and downed trees; in short, it was a mess.

And below is the after video; still some work to do, but much, much less of it.
News and Notes
Unfortunately the university system is also broken, beyond repair in most cases. The government should not be funding the universities with tax payer dollars, K-12 is way more than enough thank you very much.
So-called free trade; I’ve been over and over the fact that it is anything but free, but this conversation is good reminder.
The great taking is coming; Be Prepared. And of course, the Bible addresses the situation.
How about two somethings beautiful? I remember when my x and I were living in Franklin, TN; my parents came down for a visit, and it was their anniversary. We went to eat at an Olive Garden, and the wait staff was singing for birthdays and such; I asked our waitress to sing something for my parents. As you might imagine, there is serious talent in the Nashville area. She comes back with friends, and they light up the place with a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria, which had been sung at my parents’ wedding. We all shed a few tears that day. Well, how about a little bit more of that; two for your enjoyment.
That is some serious talent. Truly beautiful.
Books & Such
Ike’s Bluff: President Eisenhower’s Secret Battle to Save the World. It is safe to say, even as early as Eisenhower’s day, the CIA had become a loose cannon rolling about the deck of the U.S. state, wreaking havoc wherever it went. Ike kept us out of a shooting war, but in addition to the technocracy, and the military industrial complex, he should have warned us about totally off the chain and completely unaccountable intelligence agencies.
